Plans, develops, tests, and documents computer programs, applying knowledge of programming techniques and computer systems.
Evaluates user request for new or modified program, such as for financial or human resource management systems, clinical research trial results, statistical study of traffic patterns, or analyzing and developing specifications for bridge design, to determine feasibility, cost and time required, compatibility with current system, and computer capabilities.
Consults with user to identify current operating procedures and clarify program objectives. Formulates plan outlining steps required to develop program, using methodologies such as structured analysis and design or object-oriented development.

· Extensive knowledge and experience with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML, and Web content management systems).
· Extensive knowledge and experience with assistive technologies (JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver, Accessibility Insights, color contrast analyzer).
· Knowledge of disability law including but not limited to the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act (Section 504)
· Experience training accessibility standards and practices to developers and testers
· Familiarity with automated web-accessibility checking tools
· Familiarity with browser-based accessibility-testing tools (plugins, etc.)
· Knowledge of accessibility issues in technologies such as Flash and Java
· Knowledge of cross-browser accessibility considerations
· Extensive knowledge and experience with WCAG 2.1 accessibility standards and guidelines
· Knowledge of WAI-ARIA (preferably skilled use of)
· Experience with accessibility audit and quality assurance tools and processes
· Strong organizational and project management skills.
· Effective written and oral communication skills. Create accessibility reports and presentations as needed
· Demonstrated ability to effectively and independently lead accessibility tasks to completion
· Analyze current applications and develop a specification for making the applicationcompliant with accessibility standards
